discovery

I discovered the practices of Yoga in 2005. I was in my early 20’s and was a student in university. After I took my first Yoga class I was completely hooked. Something about it just felt so good on so many different levels!

Within just a few weeks of practice I started to notice that that I was getting stronger and my ability to concentrate in lectures really improved!

Yoga awakened a deep curiosity within me. The practical practices, the philosophy, the teachings, the teachers and the community of practitioners provide me with an endless well of support and inspiration.

I’ve been practicing for about 20 years and this practice has completely molded me into the person I am today. I’ve grown stronger, more flexible, more compassionate, more mindful and so full of agency and energy!

I received my 200hr certification in 2011 at The Laughing Lotus Yoga School in San Francisco.

I completed my advanced studies and received my 500hr certification at Yoga Tree SF and specialized in Yoga Therapeutics in 2014.

In 2015 I studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and received my Relax and Renew® certification.

In 2022 I graduated a 2 year deep study program at Adeline Yoga and in August 2023 I became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT, level 1).

The path of practice is a path of continuous studentship and endless curiosity!

Mission

I believe that through the power of Yoga anyone can realize their potential as a brilliant, powerful and loving being. And at the same time, it is clear to me that yoga’s not for everyone.

My mission in teaching yoga is to share my findings with fellow seekers. I am here to support, invigorate and inspire whoever is up for this wild journey.

It is my passion and my pleasure to connect and spend time on the mat with those who are open, curious and hopeful. Life isn’t always easy and that’s okay, we got this.

WHAT I teach

IYENGAR YOGA - Iyengar Yoga is very accessible. It is known for its focus on precision and timing and the use of props designed by BKS Iyengar that help the practitioner achieve perfection in any asana (posture). Regular practice of Iyengar Yoga integrates the body, mind, and emotions.

RESTORATIVE YOGA - A supported practice for balancing the nervous system and restoring the body, mind, and spirit. Postures are held for longer periods of time, using props (blankets, blocks, and straps) for coziness, support, health and relaxation.

COORPORATE YOGA - I teach a very accessible 60 min class, over Zoom or in-person. These classes support folks who work at the computer for many hours, these classes target the neck and shoulders and low back. The last 15 mins of each class includes breath work and relaxation for stress relief and integration.

PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS - These sessions are great for:

  • Beginners interested in building a strong foundation of practice.

  • Experienced practitioners who are interested in developing a meaningful home practice that encompasses all 8 limbs.
